Nature Playground

Scientific observation then has established that education is not what the teacher gives; education is a natural process spontaneously carried out by the human individual, and is acquired not by listening to words but by experiences upon the environment.

Reimagining the Nature Playground

For years, the Nature Playground at GROW Enrichment was a beloved part of our site. It featured a wide sand pit framed by logs and natural structures that invited children and families to explore, dig, climb, and connect with the Earth. It was a space where imagination ran free, laughter echoed through the trees, and countless memories were made.

Over time, the original wooden structures began to deteriorate and were eventually removed for safety reasons. Just as we were preparing to rebuild, the pandemic hit, and our plans were unexpectedly paused.

Today, we are working to bring the Nature Playground back to life. It will not be a manufactured play space, but a living and breathing part of the land that reflects our mission to connect people with nature through hands-on learning and community care.

We need your help to make it happen.

We are calling on our community to help us rebuild. Whether through a financial donation, volunteer time, or contributions of materials and skills, your support will help us restore this special part of the park for future generations to enjoy.

This playground is more than a place to play. It is a space to grow, to connect, and to give back to the land we all share.

Help Us Rebuild the Nature Playground

We are currently seeking individuals, businesses, or organizations who feel called to be part of recreating the Nature Playground at GROW Enrichment. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a project that supports outdoor play, community connection, and environmental stewardship.

If you have experience with natural building, landscaping, carpentry, or simply a passion for creating safe and imaginative spaces for children, we would love to hear from you. We also welcome support through material donations or volunteer coordination.

Together, we can restore this meaningful part of the park and give families a place to learn, grow, and play in harmony with nature.
